I led the redesign of the website for a large engineering company, with a focus on creating a seamless user experience and an easy-to-navigate online platform. This involved a full rebranding, including updating the company's visual identity and creating a cohesive ui kit.

To kick off the project, I first took a closer look at VGS' current branding and website. I dug into the target audience, checked out the competition and industry trends. Using all this info, we came up with a game plan for revamping the brand and website.

With the new site map in place, I was able to create wireframes and mockups for the website redesign, and then work with the development team to bring it to life.

Site map

I conducted a thorough analysis of the current website, including reviewing the site's structure and navigation. Next, I worked on integrating the e-commerce and catalog functionality into the site map, ensuring a seamless check-out process for customers.

This involved creating clear paths for users to access product information, add items to their cart, and complete their purchase. I created a new site map that focused on simplifying the navigation and making it easier for users to find the information and products they were looking for.

Next, we began working on creating a new visual identity for the company, including a new logo and color scheme.

I created a series of logo concepts that would embody the company's values and mission, which were presented to the company for feedback.

After incorporating this feedback and fine-tuning the chosen logo design, I created a full rebranding package, including a color palette, typography, brand guidelines and UI kit.

The final design had a cohesive feel, with a mobile-responsive layout, a streamlined checkout process, an easily navigable online catalog, and a visually appealing aesthetic.
