Empowering the Youth through Education and Design: Collaborative Volunteer Project with Tallinn Central Library

This project is about exploring Estonian culture and literature through art and English language learning in a fun way.

Our goal is to empower, inspire and create unforgettable experiences for kids, especially those new to the country. We build a caring and supportive environment that guarantees to bring joy and confidence through art and language lessons.

Branding in this project focuses on the notion that there is no single right way of learning and creating, which is essential. It underlines the crucial role of non-judgmental and supportive education and craftsmanship in the project.

The visual identity of the project is dynamic, using a set of deliberately flawed and abstract shapes that forms a "family". These illustrations can be combined in different ways, allowing for a flexible and diverse storytelling across all platforms.

For this project, the main color scheme draws inspiration from the shades of the Estonian flag.

The additional color palette, which is not limited to primary colors, is composed of distinct and warm shades. It creates a friendly and approachable look and feel.

The custom-designed font was created with a playful and imaginative aesthetic in mind. The typeface features whimsical letterforms with varying stroke widths, giving it a lively and dynamic feel. The letters are designed to be easy to read and accessible to young readers.

A modern, minimal sans-serif typeface Poppins was picked as the primary font for the copy. It features an organic shape of letters and gives a natural and not corporate feel.
